Analysis of aerobic endurance capacity level and body mass index of safin pati sports school soccer players born in 2006. Analyze aerobic endurance and BMI of Safin Pati Sports School soccer players (2006). Findings show excellent endurance (82%) and normal BMI (86%). Essential for coaches.
Coaches have difficulty identifying players' aerobic endurance capabilities based on their body proportions. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of aerobic endurance capacity and the ideal body condition of Safin Pati Sports School soccer players born in 2006. The analysis presented in the form of a classification and through a research approach based on a quantitative descriptive approach.(Allsabah, 2021). The quantitative approach to data measurement is quantitative and the statistics are objective using calculations from predetermined samples. The method in this study is a quantitative descriptive sampling method using purposive sampling and the analysis method uses quantitative descriptive statistics. Participants in this study were Safin Pati Sports School soccer students born in 2006. The sample consisted of 22 students out of 26 students who met the criteria, 4 of whom had injuries. The measurement tests used were Multistage Fitness Test, weighing and measuring height. The results of the study showed that the level of aerobic endurance capacity of Safin Pati Sports School soccer students averaged a value of 49.7 in the excellent category and the average player's body mass index value was 20.49 in the normal category. The conclusion from the results obtained from this study is that those who have excellent endurance are 82%, those who have good endurance are 14%, and those who have sufficient endurance are 5%. While the body mass index value of players in the underweight category is 14% and in the normal category is 86%. Coaches must maintain the level of aerobic endurance capacity and body mass index values they have and continue to pay attention to the training program with the food intake received by their players.
This study offers a descriptive analysis of aerobic endurance capacity and body mass index (BMI) among young soccer players (born in 2006) at the Safin Pati Sports School. The topic is highly relevant for sports science and coaching, as understanding the physical attributes of developing athletes is crucial for performance optimization and health. The authors clearly state their objective to determine the levels of these two key metrics using a quantitative descriptive approach. The abstract effectively highlights the main findings, indicating that the sampled players generally exhibit excellent aerobic endurance capacity and maintain a normal body mass index, suggesting a physically capable cohort within the school. Methodologically, the study employed a quantitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling, recruiting 22 out of 26 eligible players, with injury being the exclusion criterion for the remaining four. Standardized tests, including the Multistage Fitness Test and anthropometric measurements (weighing and height), were appropriately utilized to gather data on aerobic capacity and BMI, respectively. The results are presented as classifications and percentages, showing high percentages of players in the excellent endurance (82%) and normal BMI (86%) categories. However, the abstract begins by noting coaches' difficulty in "identifying players' aerobic endurance capabilities based on their body proportions." While the study successfully determines the *levels* of both variables, it does not explicitly present or discuss the *relationship* or *correlation* between body proportions (BMI) and aerobic endurance, which was initially framed as a challenge for coaches. The practical implications for coaches are straightforward: the current high levels of endurance and healthy BMI should be maintained through continued attention to training programs and nutritional intake. However, as a purely descriptive study, it provides a valuable snapshot of the current state rather than elucidating underlying factors or specific relationships. To fully address the initial problem statement regarding coaches' difficulties, future research could explore the correlations between BMI categories and specific endurance performance levels, or investigate how different training methodologies and nutritional strategies impact these parameters. Comparing these findings with broader athlete populations or different age groups could also enhance the generalizability and utility of such research. Overall, the study offers valuable baseline data for the Safin Pati Sports School, providing a foundation for targeted interventions and further scientific inquiry.
