The submitted work, "Analisis Kualitatif Peran Program Pengelolaan Sampah Organik dan Anorganik sebagai Upaya Konservasi Lingkungan," addresses a critical and highly relevant issue concerning waste management and environmental conservation within local communities. The abstract effectively introduces a community-based intervention initiated by a Universitas Gadjah Mada KKN-PPM team in Desa Bandulu and Tambang Ayam, Anyer, in response to low public awareness regarding waste management. The paper aims to qualitatively analyze the role and impact of this structured program in fostering sustainable practices with a focus on waste reduction and value addition. A significant strength of the described initiative lies in its systematic approach, encompassing stages from problem observation and identification to solution formulation, program implementation, and evaluation. The abstract highlights the practical and empowering nature of the program, which focused on introducing various methods for managing both organic and inorganic waste. The emphasis on transforming waste into products with added utility and economic value (e.g., ecobricks, hydroponics from inorganic waste; ecoenzymes, maggot cultivation from organic waste) is particularly commendable, demonstrating tangible outcomes and promoting a circular economy mindset. The reported positive community response further underscores the immediate success and perceived benefits of the program in enhancing understanding and practical skills. While the abstract clearly outlines a commendable community engagement program and its initial positive reception, the full paper would benefit from a more detailed exposition of the "qualitative analysis" aspect hinted at in the title. It would be valuable to understand the specific qualitative methodologies employed to assess the program's impact, beyond merely stating a "positive response." Further elaboration on data collection techniques (e.g., in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, participant observation) and the analytical framework used to interpret community perception, behavior change, and program effectiveness would significantly strengthen the paper's academic rigor. Additionally, exploring challenges encountered during implementation and discussing strategies for ensuring the long-term sustainability and scalability of these initiatives beyond the KKN program's duration would provide deeper insights into the complexities of community-based conservation efforts.
